If you’re a line of credit customer that has regularly made on-time payments and kept your account in good standing, you may have the option to request a credit limit increase. A credit limit increase raises the maximum amount you can borrow from your line of credit. Those funds are available to draw, but you are under no obligation to do so. If eligible, you can request an increase in three easy steps.
See if you’re eligible.
Sign in to your account and look for the “Request a Credit Limit Increase” link.
Verify your information.
Review and update your personal information; then verify your income.
Receive confirmation.
If approved, your credit limit increase will be confirmed via email.

Credit limit increases give eligible customers the opportunity to increase the amount of money they can access from their line of credit.
**Credit limit increases are subject to employment, income, residency and other verifications. Approval is also subject to your continuing to meet the eligibility for a Credit Limit Increase. If approved, your credit limit will be increased by up to 20% and no higher than your state's maximum Credit Limit. To see your state's maximum Credit Limit, see our Rates & Terms.
If you’re eligible to request a credit limit increase, you will see a link on your account dashboard that says “Request a Credit Limit Increase.” Additionally, you may receive an email from NetCredit notifying you of your eligibility.
To request a credit limit increase, sign in to your account, click the “Request a Credit Limit Increase” link and review your personal information. Please make sure your personal information is up to date. You will then need to verify your income. If approved, the decision and details of your credit limit increase will be confirmed via email.
You can request your credit limit increase in minutes. However, the review and verification process may take up to three business days. If approved, your credit limit increase will be applied to your account.
Requesting a credit limit increase does not require a hard or soft credit inquiry, so there will be no impact to your credit score or credit report.
Credit limits can be increased every six months, subject to eligibility.
If your credit limit increase is not approved, your credit limit will remain the same. Credit limits cannot be decreased if a credit limit increase is denied. Additionally, you may become eligible in the future, at which time you’ll be notified.
